We
went out with a bang with our last foal of the 2005 season. A very loud colored spotted
jennet. She is just a doll. Sassy was named by her new owners who have been waiting all
year for a spotted jennet to be born! She is a little tank...very
stout and stocky....perfect bite and straight legs. Primero, her sire, did well! We are
so proud!!
We
were expecting a great foal from this combination and we were not disappointed. Bling's
sire is a half brother to MGF Future
Link. Bling's name fits him perfectly as he has plenty of blingage!!!

ears.

Inga's
first foal and he is a doll. He is very stocky and heavy boned with a perfect bite!! We
were surprised at how tiny he was after such a dramatic birth. Inga insisted on having him
standing up and it took three of us to assist in pulling him out. He entered this world
sucking his tongue and he still does! Inga is being a great first time mom...she really
loves her baby! A big 'thank you' to Julia Vaughn for assisting us in the birth. We are
not sure we could have gotten him out without her!

Noise has two dark spotted eyes with heavy eyeliner around each eye. He has a broken stripe
down his back and several dark spots on each side. He has a perfect bite and his legs are
very straight and correct. He is short coupled and heavy boned. He is going to be one heck
of a little show donkey one day! His pedigree is filled with dark spotteds, sorrels, and
blacks including his grand sire, Dodge
City Miniatures Jack of Spades, who is a 31½" Black with a Star and
Snip and No Light Points.
So sorry...but this jennet is not for sale. We have never kept one of Sheena's babies and
we have always regretted it. Miz Moxie is going to stay right here at Half Ass Acres! Thank
you to my great friend, Julia Vaughn, for naming her. I am so sorry but we just can't part
with this little girl either!
Exciting News!!
Moxie has been sent to Kathy Loudamy at K&K
Ranch in Texas for conditioning, training, and showing! We have confidence in Kathy's
ability to make Moxie a fine little show donkey! Moxie is home and we are thrilled with
the difference in her after 110 days in training. Click the link above to see her updated

This is a very, very extra special little girl for more reasons than one! Hula tried so
hard to be a no light points jennet and she almost made it except for one tiny smudge on
the bridge of her nose...everything else is totally black...even the inside of her ears
and her belly. She is only 6 hours old in these photos and so far she is so black that we
do NOT see a cross! Sorry, but Hula is not for sale!

Messie's mom fooled us and she foaled in the maternity ward early in the morning on the
day she was scheduled to be put under the barn cam. We had a beautiful brown girl waiting
for us when we went to the barn to feed and clean early in the morning...so all is well
that ends well!

a great start to the 2005 foaling season! Very correct conformation and tiny too. Black
with no light points anywhere except the inside of his ears. A very, very faint visible
stripe that you can barely see in very bright sunlight.
