We ran out of time to take photos and videos of Cake at all angles but I can assure you she is as straight and wide as they get front and rear. We will take her videos and photos over again when the weather is warm enough to body clip her. I am in love with the build on this jennet. Cake has the ideal build that we are all looking for in our donkeys plus such an adorable head to go along with her. And for the icing on the cake her pedigree is completely full with no untraced relatives.
Cake has been vet tested to not be in foal. She needs to be hand bred as she is a spinner. It is so late in the year that we may wait until next spring to attempt to get her in foal again.
Cake has produced the following foals that we are aware of:
We have tried for almost three years to settle this jennet in foal but we have been unsuccessful. It is time for us to reduce our herd so we are giving up and offering her as a companion donkey. This is one gorgeous jennet with a super topline. Hopefully someone else will be able to settle her in foal. Blaze is shy with strangers and a very sensitive donkey.
Blaze is up to date on all vaccinations including Eastern/Western Encephalitie, Tetanus, Rhino, Influenza, West Nile, Rabies and Botulism. She is also current on hoof trims and de-worming.
Headed to Wartrace, Tennessee!

Baby is the result of Kathy Loudamy’s fine breeding program at K & K Ranch in Texas. She is no longer breeding donkeys and we could not believe how very fortunate we were to be able to obtain this jennet. Baby’s full sister is one of only two jennets that Kathy retained when she dispersed her herd.
For such a small donkey Baby is super correct with nice width in front and back, a perfect topline, straight legs and a fantastic hip. She has a beautiful, small head. She is dark brown with white points but looks almost black when she sheds out in the summer. Her sire is Sunset Acres Rowdy Yates (sadly now deceased), and her pedigree includes Little Motown,My World Buster, and Pine Grove Farm’s Peppercorn Jack.
Millon Dollar Baby is now resting after she rejected her last foal that is now being raised by a surragote jennet at Little Miracles Farm. We do not know why she rejected her last foal as she has had two other foals previous to this one that she raised without any issues. We think she will be perfectly fine to breed again. We are only offering her for sale to reduce our numbers.

We were busy attending the two day NMDA Music City Show and we were not expecting to find Dolly in early labor when we went to the barn to get ready for day two of of the show. We quickly put Dolly in the foaling stall and videoed her birth live on Facebook. This adorable jennet was born on my deceased mother's b'day, Gene Ray, so we named her Dream of Genie. This jennet's sire is now residing in Australia and her dam was humanly euthanized due to cancer so we are keeping Genie for our future brood jennet band.
A big huge 'thank you!' to my right hand wo-man, Katie Randall, for handling Genie for her three year old update photos. I don't think I would be raising donkeys without Katie's expert help. She takes time away from her own busy farm to help me whenever I ask.
Genie will be bred for the first time in the late summer of 2022.

We missed filming the birth of this baby too because our barn is full and we had not put Taffy in the foaling stall. By the time we reached the barn we had to deliver the foal without moving her and the lights were too low to film. All is well for mom and baby. Boo Boo is a heavy boned, stocky girl that we believe will be a great halter donkey for us next year. This is our very last Bruise foal so we will be keeping her for our future brood jennet band. We will be selling all the rest of the foals that are due this year as we are at our capacity for keeping donkeys at this time.
Boo Boo will be bred for the first time in the late spring of 2023.
A special 'thank you' to my friends, Jane Savage, Rita Harris and Emily Steenhout, who came up with the perfect barn name for this girl, Boo Boo.

Ruby arrived at Half Ass Acres all the way from New York in December of 2018 along with five of her stablemates. Her owner has been diagnosed and is being treated for a very serious illness and she decided it was time to place her donkeys in another home. We are honored that she trusts us to give the best of care to her precious donkeys from her outstanding breeding program. The above photos were taken of Ruby out in the pasture.
We will take updated photos and videos when the weather is warm enough to body clip her and see her at her best. This is a gorgeous, correct, heavy-boned jennet with a super friendly personality.
We finally gave up on getting Ruby to settle in foal after over two years of trying. She has been sold to a wonderful pet home less than twenty miles away from us. She was paired up with her stablemate, Misty May.

Misty May is not her breeding but she has owned her since she was a young foal.

Update: Katie Randall is taking Moonshine home to try her hand at getting her in foal. If anyone will be successful it will be Katie.

Leading Lady was shown as a yearling at the 2004 NMDA Nationals and placed 4th in a very large impressive class.
Lady is also the grand dam of Champion Quartermoon Lap Top.
Lady was pastured with Champion Best of Breed & Champion Producer Cedar Oak's Rojo, a 33" dark red jack. You can see more phjotos and videos of Rojo on our herdsire page. Lady's last heat cycle was on 2/03/21, and they are still pastured together. We will leave them together until she is ready to leave for her new home. The offspring of Rojo and Lady should be one outstanding foal. Update! Lady foaled a dark nlp jennet in January of 2022!
Lady is up to date on her vaccinations including: Eastern/Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Rhino, and Influenza, plus Rabies as well was given on 1/18/21. She has a negative coggins report dated 8/31/20.
She has been regularly de-wormed and has had her hooves trimmed. She was last de-wormed with Equimax on 2/4/21.
Lady is a beautiful heavy-boned correct jennet that has beautiful movement as you can see by the video we have posted that was just taken of her a few weeks ago. She is also a very sweet and friendly jennet.
Lady is the dam of the following foals that we are aware of:
They don't come any blacker nor sweeter than this girl. BB came all the way from Iowa when Poderosa Donkey Farm dispersed their herd and retired from raising donkeys. BB has a very nice topline and she is a beautiful mover. We are very pleased with BB's first foal, Alphabet Zoup, who we have retained for our breeding program. That is the only reason we are offering her for sale. Both my husband and I are in our seventies so we must keep our herd at a more manageable number.
Black Beauty is now pastured with Rojo since 2/3/21 and her last observed heat cycle was the same day. We will keep her together with Rojo until she is ready to go to her new home.
BB is up to date on all vaccinations including Eastern/Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Rhino, Influenza and West Nile. She also has a current Rabies vaccination and a Botulism B vaccine as well. She is up to date on de-worming and hoof trims. She was last de-wormed on 12/20/20 with Equimax.
Black Beauty is a great mom and a very friendly and easy to handle jennet. The above videos and photos were taken in the summer when she was body clipped. She now has her winter coat but she will shed off to the same beauiful black color you see in her photos and videos above.
BB is the dam of the following foals:
1) HHAA Alphabet Zoup, 7/01/18, Tyger Spotted Jennet, (Sire: Zoo) Zoup has been retained for our breeding program;
This was a picture perfect birth. Party had 2% milk and all other signs of impending birth late in the afternoon of Saturday, January 30th, 2021. Several hours later she started pacing and showing other signs of heavy labor. We moved her to the foaling stall and her water broke at 9:08pm. Her beautiful spotted jennet took her first breath at 9:14pm.
We expected Party to foal on January 6th so the baby was late and her birth weight reflected that at a whopping 28.6 lbs.
Thank you to Cindy Nash, my friend for seventy years for suggesting the perfect name for Party's foal.
PJ will first be offered to our customers that have deposits down for our 2021 foals.

This may be one of the best foals ever born here. We waited to post him because he was limping on his left hind leg in the videos but he has completely recovered now from whatever injured his leg. We will be offering him to our customers that already have deposits with us and if they pass on him we will offer him to the public.
Ex looks to be a dark brown and white spot now be we are betting he will shed off to be a black and white spot judging by his genetics and our foals that were born this color in the past. Time will tell but no matter what color he turns out to be he is stocky, correct and strikingly handsome. For an added bonus his personality could not be any friendlier.
Ex will be up to date on all vaccinations, de-wormings, hoof trims, etc.

She chose to sell half interest in them to us so that she could stay involved in their lives. We are honored that she trusts us to give the best of care to her precious donkeys from her outstanding breeding program.
Speedy is everything you could ever want in a herd sire. He is blue black with no hint of a cross and a bright white belly and points. He is very stocky, wide and correct and to top it all off he has the most wonderful personality. He is a delight to have on our farm.
We hated to part with Speedy but at our age it is time for us to reduce our herd and our work load. He has sired some beautiful foals for us and we have his daughter, Luck Be a Lady, in our brood jennet band.
We named this handsome fella "Moon Knight" in keeping with the super hero theme that we have named most all of Kyptonite's foals. He was also born a few days after the Super Blue Moon Eclypse that had not occurred in 150 years. His barn name is Bubba.
We are selling Bubba for his owners who have had him ever since he was a foal on his mom's side. They asked me to find him a great home since they are facing serious health problems. Bubba is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile, Rabies, Eastern/Western Encephalitis, Rhino, Influenza and Tetanus. He must go to a home that has other equines. Bubba would make a great cart donkey.

Pow Wow was the ACOSA Year End High Point Halter Gelding of 2016. We are so proud of our boy. Thank you to The American Councel of Spotted Asses for presenting this prestigious award. Pow Wow was not shown in 2017 but he was back on the show circuit for 2018.
Pow Wow has started the 2018 show season off with a bang earning many points in-hand at his very first NMDA showing in performance in Magnolia, Arkansas. Very soon we will begin driving him too.
Pow Wow was also the 2015 High Point Halter Gelding of Tennessee and the Reserve High Point Color Donkey of Tennessee. (defeated by his stablemate, Ch Chime). He was also the 2015 High Point Best Matched Pair Donkey along with his sire, MGF Prime Minister.
This super nice gelding is a grand son of our long time main herd sire, Peppercorn Jack, who was gelded and retired years ago.
A big 'thank you!' to Kay Allen at Blessed Assurance Farm for allowing us to change this gelding's name and also add our own farm to his name. We are going to be campaigning this gelding heavily on the show circuit and Kay graciously let us advertise our farm at the same time that we promoted her breeding. We had sold all of our taller jennets so we were unable to produce a stout gelding of this caliber. In the meantime we have purchased a few taller jennets in the hopes that we can produce our own gelding as nice as he is one day in the future.
2013/2014 Show Season: 1st time shown...2nd out of 8 entries at the ACOSA Nationals on July 11th, 2013, and the next day on July 12th Wow was 2nd out of 14 entries in Color! There were two judges in this class and both judges awarded him second place. We were unable to show in NMDA halter at this show as his papers had not yet returned from ADMS.
Update! 2nd time shown...1st in halter and 3rd in color!
Update! 3rd time shown...1st in halter and 3rd in color again!
Update! 4th time shown...1st in halter and 1st in color and Grand Champion Jack/Gelding.
Update! 5th time shown...1st in color and 3rd in halter!
2015: Pow Wow has started his 2015 show season with a bang by winning second in a huge color class at The Great Celebration Mule & Donkey Show in July. Judge Abrams placed him first and Judge Cochran placed him 3rd. His stablemate Ch Chime and Katie Randall were first.
Pow Wow was 1st at the Bedford County Fair in Halter Geldings 2 Yrs. & Over. There were ten entries in his class.
His new photos and videos above were taken on July 20th, 2015, with the expert handling of Katie Randall. Oh, how I love Pow Wow..what a sweet and agreeable donkey he is. He is one of a kind. You could not ask for a nicer attitude on a donkey. He just is no trouble at all. Don't I wish they all were like Pow Wow. Except for trimming his legs which he hates...but there is no perfect donkey!
Powy earned his American Donkey Association "Excellence in Halter" in 2018. Pow Wow begin showing in-hand performance classes in 2018 and he already has 48 points towards his excellence with very limited showing.
He was not shown in 2019 in performance and only attended one show where he stood Best of Breed. Hopefully, we will begin showing him in driving classes in 2020 and acquire his excellence in driving and finish his excellence in hand as well. Powey only needs five more points to obtain his Supreme in Halter.
