Oh, how I would love to say he is black but when you can see a tinge of brown in their coats they are not black. Black is a very rare color indeed in miniature donkeys and very few are truly black. Even some of our own donkeys that are registered black are genetically very dark brown. But I could be wrong...time will tell. No matter... Deuce is gorgeous and we adore him. We think the Lord may want us to start a matched team as our first two foals are almost identical in color. We are just so very blessed to have such healthy, gorgeous foals. Beauty did not disappoint us when she delivered this boy.
