      Grand Sire:  Fisher's Ghost, 30" Fully-frosted White
Grand Dam:  Sutherlin's Little Reba, 33" Smoky Black

This is a very, very extra special little girl for more reasons than one! Hula is a true black who tried so hard to be a no light points jennet and she almost made it except for one tiny smudge on the bridge of her nose and tiny little eye rings...everything else is totally black...even the inside of her ears and her belly. Hula Hoop was sent for training to Kathy Loudamy's K&K Ranch in Texas!

Update! First time and only time shown....Hula Hoop shown by Kathy Loudamy places 5th out of 14 entries in Miniature Donkey Yearlings at Halter class at the Texas A&M Horseman's Association Donkey & Mule Show November 18th, 2006. We are very proud! Thank you, Kathy!!

If you want Black, great conformation and all tied up in a sweet, easy to handle disposition, here she is. X-Phile has a pedigree that is tops going all the way back to original imports with only two untraceable ancestors, and she’s such a joy to be around. She’s a half sister to MJB Jack of Spades, Merlin, a 30½" black jack. X-Phile sold for $5,000 in the 2004 Great American Miniature Donkey Sale in Ohio. Her babies are gorgeous - whoever gets X-Phile will be getting a winner!!! X-Phile has a negative coggins report dated July 23rd, 2007.

Red Ray is named after the most remarkable woman that has ever entered my life...my Mother! Her name was Imagene Ray but all her friends called her Red Ray. This very special jennet is named "Ima Red Ray" in honor of my red-headed Mother! Don't worry...my Mother would be very flattered! I can hear her laughing now...when she laughed it sounded like little bells ringing. Red Ray was bred to our new spotted herd sire, Napoleon, expecting a July 2007 foal. This will be her first foal.

Update! Red Ray delivered a dark spotted jack, Indian Chills, on 7/25/07 @ 8:35pm. Click here miniature donkeyto see more photos of Chills!

We purchased this little beauty from Big Woods Farm. She was shown for the first time by Leana Lefrapper (for Big Woods Farm) at the 2004 ADMS Nationals Cheers For Ears Show and won! She was shown three other times that year and was 2nd in miniature halter jennets at the NMDA Bedford County Fair, 2nd in miniature halter jennets at the Virginia State Fair Mule & Donkey Show, and 2nd in miniature halter jennets at the Dixie Classic Mule & Donkey Show. Image is bred to Big Woods Burr Foxx, a gorgeous dark red sorrel that is already wining big in the show ring! Update! Image was tested for pregnancy through an estrone sulfate blood test and she was positive!

Update! 12/12/06..we woke up to quite a surprise...Image had her foal in the maternity ward early this morning. A tiny very dark brown jennet with a gorgeous tiny head. She is perfect in every way!

The secret is out....National Champion Circle C Motown's Secret has been gelded and this is his last foal!! His legacy will live on with this nice heavy-boned little girl! Outie is just as sweet and friendly as she can be. She is registered as black with a cross but I believe she is really a very dark brown or black/brown although her coat is very sun-burned. She is up to date on vaccinations, hoof trims and de-worming. She has a negative coggins report dated June 8th, 2007. We forgot to measure her the day we took these photos but I will measure her again the next time I have her at the barn. I expect her to mature somewhere between 33" to 34" tall. She has a perfect bite and she travels very straight with correct legs. It was too dang hot to ask my husband to stay out any longer in the hot sun to take vidoes today. All the above photos were taken on June 26th, '07. I can promise you that you will be very pleased with the quality of Secret's Out.

Talk about making temperatures RISE! This little girl can certainly do that to you. She definitely has that "look at me attitude" as she carries her head high and clips around the Spring grass smelling all the trees and blooming flowers. (Well, not anymore as we are in a drought!) What a refreshing little one and just as sweet as they come.

Spring wears her "genes" very well and it is easy to see those great bloodlines from The Fireman and 'My World'. No doubt she will be a fantastic addition to some lucky family as a show girl, brood jennet or just to love on all day long. She is all about melting your heart with those big eyes, her upright head, straight legs, and a personality that makes YOU feel like the special one. We purchased this little girl in a package deal from Wit's End Farm while on her mother's side. This little girl is definitely a show prospect with outstanding conformation. She has a perfect bite, round rear, straight legs, very heavy boned and a wide, wide chest. Enjoy her in the showring until she is old enough to retire to your brood jennet pasture. Photos above were taken on August 26th, 2007. Thank you to Sandy Dorris for setting up Spring for her photo shoot! Great job, Sandy!

Spring has a negative coggins report dated June 8th, 2007, and she has been vaccinated with her first set of vaccinations plus her boosters of Eastern/Western/Tetanus/Rhino/Influenza.

Jetta was shown at the Calgary 2005 World Show as a youngster and placed 1st in youth showmanship shown by Dakota Townsend and 5th in a large class of outstanding foals. Jetta is bred to Big Woods Burr Foxx, a gorgeous dark red sorrel that is already wining big in the show ring, for a February 15th, 2007, foal. Jetta is in the maternity ward now and has started her 'bag' on January 21st, 2007! This will be Jetta's first foal and our first foal for the 2007 season.

Jetta foaled a tiny dark red jack at 1:51pm...she went into labor while we were at the barn and I did not have time to post a note on our website...sorry to all that missed the birth. The baby measured 20¼" tall with ears almost as tall as he is! Thank you for all the calls we received from people watching our jennet. We appreciate you all!

Fizz basically spit herself out with this sweet girl only she is even better! She is stocky as can be, straight legs, perfect bite. Her beautiful pink color is outstanding and shows the marking of the cross nicely across and down her back. Cimmaron, the sire, has left his mark on Belle with his fantastic bloodline. These girls are so beautiful in their pink attire and will add so much color to your herd of donkeys. If they are not sold by the time Belle is weaned they will be priced separately. This little jennet was purchased from the on-line internet sale at The North American Select Miniature Donkey Sale on June 25, 2005. We took one look at her during the measuring and we just had to have her. Her original name was Miss Wongaspon in honor of two special veterinarians that saved her life when she was a baby .... sorry, Dick and Kathy, but that name had to go...she is such a special jenny that we had to give her a pretty name! Addy has been bred to PGF Peppercorn Jack for an April 3rd, 2008, foal. This will be her first foal. Addy has a negative coggins report dated 7/23/07.

She has the best set of legs you could ever hope for...very straight..wide in-between...and heavy boned. Her spot pattern is striking and just flawless! A big thank you goes out to Butch & Sarah Nowlin at Moe Moe Acres for allowing Heaven's mom to come and live at Half Ass Acres. Purchasing Heaven's dam, Suzie, was one of the wisiest decisions we have made! It is hard to beat a good ole' tried and true gray-dun jennet as a spot producer. Heaven is the proof.

Spec is out of one of our very best spotted jennets and sired by a tiny sorrel jack. His grand sire is the great 'few spot' white jack, Hartman Donkey's Trenton. We think so much of him that we have several 'Trenton' daughters in our brood jennet band. Spec just has a few spots but they are black and he has several dark spots thoughout his body just on his skin that do not show up unless he is clipped as he appears in the photographs above. Spec is stocky, stout and wide and small with outstanding conformation & a super disposition. We expected Spec to produce some very colorful foals and he has not disappointed us. He has produced six foals as of this date and all are heavy boned with very correct legs and beautiful heads:

Dark Brown & White Spotted Jack
DOB 9/12/07 @ 3:22am
Birth Height:  22"

ACOSA#SA2291
Microchip ID# on file

Sire:  PGF Peppercorn Jack, 30½" Brown
Grand Sire:  My World Buster, 30¼" Sorrel
Grand Dam:  Pine Grove Farm's Rhubarb, 31½" Gray-Dun

Dam:  Windcrest Sunshine Girl, 33" Dark Brown & White Spotted
Grand Sire:  Sam Magic Place, 31¼" Gray-Dun
Grand Dam:  Miss Suzie Bell, 34" Brown & White Spotted

Now this little guy sort of caught us by surprise. Sunshine was not actually due until September 24th so we were not on constant alert for his arrival. We had her under the cam as a stall buddy for Meggie Mae who had just had her baby. Just before going to bed, at 12:30a that night, a stall clean up and milk check was done and Sunshine had pure white milk. By 3:22 am she gave birth to this cute little spotted jack with a very unique spot pattern. He stayed right beside his mother and within 15 minutes he was up and already nursing.

With it being so very late, or early in the morning, we did not stay up to wait for him to dry. The next morning we were so anxious to see just what color he was going to be. We hurried to the barn and this most precious little guy was ready and waiting for us to admire him. His brown color is a bit unusual in that it has a nice red tint to it. You would not say it is sorrel but it is very different. He has a white, upside down horseshoe shape on one hip and a heart shape on his other hip. The heavy blanket of brown over his top side, really make him a stand out boy.

If you are looking for a spotted boy to be your best buddy then look no further. He is ready to be your Sidekick and become a member of your family as soon as he is weaned. He has the cutest personality, uses those reddish brown ears constantly, and he is just as soft as a cotton ball. He loves to just be beside you and be a part of what is going on around him. For this reason we have named him Sidekick. Don't let this one get away….come see him and our little pal can be your very own Sidekick too!

Sire: Frontier Legends Tex*Ass Chisholm, 32" Dark Brown
Grand Sire:  Stock Market's Cash Dividend, 31¾" Dark Brown
Grand Dam:  Windy Willow's Sapphire, 32" Brown

Dam:  KiTerra's Cotton Candy, 32" White

Grand Sire:  Vaughn's Old Buddy, 31½" Dark Brown
Grand Dam:  RSO's Ivory, Light Brown/Gray & White Spotted

Smoke has show quality conformation and could be a winner in the show ring. He has been shown once as a yearling and won 2nd place in Yearling Halter at the Indiana State Fair. He was shown as a two year old at the 2007 Tennessee State Fair and won 2nd in the solid color class with 12 entries and 4th in the 2 and over gelding class with 11 entries. He measures slightly under 33¾" tall. His sire has won many championships and his grand sire is a National Champion. Smoke has a nice round rump and very straight and correct legs. These photos do not do him justice as he is much prettier in person. He is a beautiful striking silver gray color with leg garters and buttons up and down all four legs. He is very sweet and easy to handle and can be pastured with jennets and foals. He has been lightly line driven and it would not take much more work to teach him to drive. Show donkey or companion pet, you would be proud to have Smoke in your pasture. Smoke has a negative coggins report dated 6/30/07 and he is up to date on all vaccinations, hoof trimmings, and de-worming.

Going to France...far, far away so I don't have to show against him.
He is nicer than my own show gelding! LOL!!
